Conflict-Free Guarantee

Every natural diamond sold by Daniel William Diamonds is warranted conflict free. We purchase exclusively from established suppliers who warrant, in writing, that their diamonds are obtained through legitimate channels in full compliance with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, applicable United Nations resolutions, and United States law.

How our guarantee works

The Kimberley Process is the international certification system that governs the trade in rough diamonds and keeps conflict diamonds out of the legitimate supply chain. Its protections extend to polished diamonds through the World Diamond Council System of Warranties: each seller in the chain, from cutter to retailer, must warrant on its invoice that the diamonds it sells are conflict free. We require this written warranty from every supplier we work with, and we pass it on to you with your purchase.

Trade and sanctions compliance

We comply with all applicable U.S. import restrictions and sanctions, including the prohibition on diamonds of Russian origin, and as a dealer in precious stones we maintain an anti-money-laundering compliance program consistent with the USA PATRIOT Act and Bank Secrecy Act.

Lab-grown diamonds

Lab-grown diamonds are created in controlled laboratory environments rather than mined, so they fall entirely outside the conflict-diamond supply chain.
